As the Department's new Graduate Studies Coordinator, I am initiating a once-a-month listening session for all of our affiliated graduate students. This is an informal opportunity for everyone to talk about what's going well in our programs, what difficulties you are facing, and what steps you will take to make any changes that need to be made to the programs.
Everyone is invited and encouraged to come. It is entirely optional. This is not a meeting and no decisions will be made or problems solved. It is simply an opportunity for you to speak to the Department's Graduate Studies Coordinator and for me to listen. It will last no longer then 90 minutes and end sooner if everyone has had their say.
The sessions will be held in 105 Marshall (we'll get a bigger room if needed), on the following Fridays, from 3:30 - 5:00 p.m.:
